Multiplex Weaveis typically used in drum filters and in special applications in precoat filtration.Multiplex mesh use groups of wires for both weft and warp, consequently there are no mesh openings. They therefore look as though they have been woven using textile fibres similar to matting, thus combining excellent filtering properties with a high resistance to wear and tear.
Multiplex mesh may be supplied in rolls of various widths and lengths and in flat panels in different geometric shapes. It is possible to make them from all metal materials and alloys, that can be drawn into wire, such as carbon steel, stainless steels, Nickel-Chromium alloys, pure metals.
SOLIDWEAVE – multiplex mesh: interweaving of wire bundles
Multiplex meshes or multibraid meshes are produced by interweaving wire bundles in warp and weft. As a result, a mesh structure emerges, which excels thanks to a high number of pores.
High flexibility with mechanical strength for large-surface filters
This mesh lends itself to large-surface filters thanks to the very good combination of flexibility and mechanical strength.
The special surface of the multiplex mesh supports a uniform and stable filter cake buildup.
Typical areas of applications are drum filters, and special applications in the area of precoat filtration.
